I love this software but have seen it do some strange things. When the software is looking at LTC coming in via a moto (firewire) or aja kona card it will randomly start “receiving” timecode. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency to it – it happens completely randomly and the timecode generated is completely random every time. 22h + seems to be a favourite at 24fps. It will do this when no cable is even connected to the input device so can’t be attributed to any random crackle etc.
I have had the software running on two mac’s in front of me, and on is showing no input, the other has started and run to 9.10 on a 5s jam mode.
I’m looking to output to Virtual VTR.
I wish I could pin point the issue further. It seems to be worse if I select the audio input to be listening to the source rather than just leaving it blank (as when it first loads)
I’m using v1.12 (113) on mac pro’s with 10.6.4 installed, although have seen the same issue on 10.6.8 as well.
Any suggestions?
