LAMA
Little Audio Measurement Application
Source Independent Transfer Measurements
Source Independent Transfer measurements allow to determine the frequency response of an acoustical system in a very fast way.
How do they Work?
All you need to do, is to feed your source and response signal into LAMA. The source signal might be your mixing-desk output, the response signal may be a measurement microphone somewhere in the room.
Of course, you can also check the frequency response of signal-processing machines, like an EQ.
Coherence
Next to magnitude and phase response, LAMA will also display the coherence of the measurement. You can interpret it as the quality of the measurement — for example it becomes low in frequency areas with a lot of noise in the response signal.
Multiple Traces
LAMA allows to display as many transfer functions as you like in a single window. So it is possible to display the response of the room and your EQ function at the same time.
Delay Finder
To analyze the frequency response, LAMA needs to know the delay between source and response signal. It is automatically measured with the integrated Delay Finder which is also able to display the impulse response of your system.
