What is red Curtain?

Red Curtain is designed for use in theatres and all other live shows and events. Arrange your show in the cue list and play them easily when required.
red Curtain offers a wide range of functions that make it easier for you to control your show.

Easy and Intuitive User Interface

Red Curtain is a playback software. Period. All features for this purpose are included, nothing else. The result is a simple user interface that allows to concentrate on the main application: Your Show.

Audio Unit Hosting

red Curtain hosts Audio Units to process your audio signal. Add equalization, dynamics or else to your Audio Playback with your favourite Plug Ins!

Varispeed

Alter the Playback Speed of audio without altering its pitch.

MIDI Control

MIDI Features allow you to:

• Control red Curtain with a Control Surface
• Trigger Playbacks with external MIDI Events, delivered by Keyboards, Lightning desks etc.
• Trigger external Events by MIDI Notes from red Curtain.

The Waveform Editor

The Waveform-Editor Window lets you zoom into the waveform and adjust start & endpoint, loop points and locator positions.
The easiest way to open the time editor window is to click into the waveform overview in the cue control area while holding the command key.

Remote Control

red Curtain provides wide support for the Alphatrack Remote Control from Frontier Design.
If you don't own an Alphatrack but an other controller - no problem. Assign MIDI messages of your faderbank to functions in red Curtain and enjoy your show without touching the computer.

Optimize your workflow

Perform you shows as easy as never before by chaining playback & stop events to each other.

Start & Stop Actions

Start & Stop Actions provide the possibility to Start, Stop or Fade an other cue if an specific cue is started or stopped. You can easily set the up by dragging an other cue from the cue list onto the strart, stop or fade icon in the start or stop action inspector view of the cue.
You can modify the with the pop - up menu or deactivate them with the "Perform" checkbox.

You can deactivate the action temporarily by holding down the command key while starting or stopping a cue.
